Laurie Lehmann

I have been the documentarian in my family for more then 37 years. It all started with a little point and shoot and rolls and rolls of film. Children were born and adopted and I photographed. We built homes, went to festivals, and I photographed. First day of school, family vacations, birthday parties all the time I photographed. I have an entire closet full of albums with years and years of photographs.

My friends and family tell me that I have an eye for good composition, that I have a talent I hadn't recognized.

I got my first digital camera and a new focus. How to take a picture that no one else has taken. I like to catch moments. I think my photographs are lucky. Being at the right place at the right time. Maybe it’s skill. What ever it is I have been enjoying photography for 50 years and I have no reason to stop now!
